American Dream

Who cares who is running this country? I’m a U.S. citizen that votes. I believe in Government. Both parties are part of the American story and the American dream.
I believe in common sense. I believe in regulation of social problems. The Democrat party often goes too far left, causing the borders to go south toward another country. We need reform and we need to work together at solving issues — strengthening borders, strengthening government social programs, and working to help all Americans get the 40 acres and a mule dream.
I only can hope for people that are not voting to vote and stay active in the community. We need to view ourselves as small and the world as large, instead of large and our community as small. That makes a huge difference in the concept of being part of something larger.
My mother always told me that. When you see yourself as small, you serve. When you see the world as large, you vote. You show up. You help your neighbor. You protect the dream for the next person.
That’s what I believe. That’s why I keep going.
