Walking by the Spirit, Not by Sight
*Walking by the Spirit, Not by Sight*
There’s a difference between religion and relationship.
People who are self-aware, confident, and have walked through past trauma — who’ve done the hard work of healing — know this: you can stand apart from religion and still wear the full armor of God. Because the armor isn’t put on in a pew. It’s put on in prayer. In surrender. In that quiet place where it’s just you and Him.
You won’t find healing on social media. Not in followers. Not in likes. Not in the comments section. That’s empty noise when your soul is bleeding.
Real healing comes from a small circle and a real support network. Friends who pray for you, and you pray for them. That kind of friendship is deeper than any shallow crowd that picks you apart or scrutinizes your every move without ever knowing your story.
People who walk by the Spirit can’t be “read” by the world. The Bible says we walk by faith, not by sight. The kingdom of God is _within you_ — not in a building, not in a denomination, not in a hashtag.
A well-rounded faith examines, questions, and discerns. It knows the difference between truth and cults. It protects your mental health instead of breaking it. And that kind of faith? It makes room for trauma to heal.
Mental health recovery _is_ possible. You are not broken beyond repair. You are not “too much.” And you are not delusional for believing God speaks to you, walks with you, and heals you from the inside out.
So put on the full armor. Guard your heart. Trust the Spirit within.
Your healing is real. Your faith is yours. And your story is still being written.
