The Future is Non Profit

My Own Two Feet — The Nonprofit I’m Starting

I’m starting my own nonprofit.

It’s for women. Especially young women. The ones who think they have to rely on family or a man for support because nobody ever told them they could rely on themselves.

I waited for someone to rescue me. Then I realized: God gave me my own two feet.

So this nonprofit is about strength and independence. It’s about showing young women how to stand up, speak up, and show up for themselves. To know that you don’t need a man’s wallet or your family’s approval to be whole. You need a plan, a skill, and a community that says, “You’re not hopeless, you’re developing.”

Because there are other women that are independent and doing great on their own.

And I want to hand that forward.

The nonprofit will run seminars, camps, and programs. Connecting with women that have succeeded despite the odds against them.

And I want a room full of women who feel the same.

The nonprofit doesn’t have a fancy name yet. But it has a purpose: to tell every girl who feels behind, every woman who thinks it’s too late, that your cocoon stage ends. The butterfly pays her own bills. The butterfly gets her PhD. The butterfly teaches other butterflies how to fly.

We start with one seminar. One camp. One program. One woman.
