Rumors

On rumors, responsibility, and protecting peace

There’s a story going around that I “let kids run wild in a hotel room.” That’s not what happened.

I ordered pizza, walked to the car myself, picked it up, and brought it back to the room for a safe, supervised girl time. We don’t let children or teens go anywhere unauthorized. Period. Safety is non-negotiable for me.

It hurts when people blab, exaggerate, or fill in blanks with gossip. It hurts more when trust is broken by people who claim to be guided by something higher but don’t act with integrity. I believe in a Spirit that connects us to God — and that Spirit isn’t in rumor, manipulation, or using others.

When things crossed a line, I did what I had to do. I documented. I made calls. I protected the people who needed protecting. I don’t regret that.

I’m not here to feud. I’m here to be clear: I take care of the kids in my charge. I take responsibility for my actions. And I won’t let someone else’s story become my truth.

Moving forward, I’m choosing peace, boundaries, and the kind of company that doesn’t confuse chaos with connection.
